Steven joined Thornton Jones in October 2013 from Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors and quickly began making his mark as a specialist in complex financial matters.
Steven enjoys applying his mind and considerable expertise to devising strategies that will help his clients reach pragmatic solutions that are in their best interests. He also enjoys the enforcement of financial orders which have been made but not complied with. He has a reputation as an outstanding litigator, and extensive knowledge of the law.
He is the only solicitor in Wakefield with Resolution accredited specialist status in advanced financial provision, recognising his expertise in complex financial cases and his ability to deal with medium to high net worth finances.
Away from the office, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching rugby union. He’s also a parent governor and a member of Mirfield Round table, where he gets involved in a range of local fundraising activities.
